The three-month-long online session – second stage of current, the 4th edition of ScripTeast was crowned in the end of 2009 when the authors delivered new versions of their scripts. The scriptwriters, representing 9 Eastern and Central European countries were working under individual supervision and with advice of a chosen Creative Advisor and a Head of Studies. In current edition the group of Advisors features: Marc Caro (France), Cesar winner, scriptwriter and director of "Delicatessen”, „The City of Lost Children”, "Dante 01"; Chris Collins (UK), BAFTA winner, producer of „My Summer of Love”, „Brick Lane”, development producer in the UK Film Council; Licia Eminenti (Italy/France) script expert, working for Arte, Eurimages, Media Fund and sales specialist in Gemini Films; also a scriptwriter and director; Robert Jones (UK), producer and co-producer of Oscar, BAFTA, and European Film Award winning films, ie: „The Usual Suspects”, „The Constant Gardener”, „Gosford Park”, Joelle Levie (Canada/France) long-term Director of Quebec division of Telefilm Canada; General Director for Cinema and Television at the Société de Développement des Entreprises Culturelles; founder and director of Ateliers Grand Nord; Udayan Prasad (UK), BAFTA nominee scriptwriter and director of ie: „Opa!”, "My Son the Fanatic", „Yellow Hankerchief”; Jason Resnick (USA) long-term Director of International Sales and Acquisitions at Universal Pictures and Focus Film; Antonio Saura (Spain) producer of ie: „Fados”, „Salome”, co-founder of distribution company, Latino Films; one of founders of Media Business School and Mediterranea Development Agency; Antonin Svoboda (Austria), producer of the Oscar nominated "Darwin's Nightmare", and also "The Educators", "Pepperminta", "Free Rainer", shown at festivals in Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Locarno. Roles of Heads of Studies have again been taken by Tom Abrams, professor of the Southern California University in Los Angeles, and Christian Routh, long-term Director at the Media backed European Script Fund.
The participating scripts are going to be read, revised and then discussed with the authors during stationary session at Berlinale 2010. Besides individual meetings with Heads of Studies, participants of ScripTeast will attend European Film Market, pitching training and lectures within Berlinale Talent Campus; with festival accreditations provided they can also attend festival screenings.
The fourth edition of ScripTeast will be concluded during Cannes Film Festival, May 2010 with presentation of the Krzysztof Kieslowski Award for the Best Eastern and Central European Script (with 10000 euros money prize), chosen from one of the projects participating in current edition.
