>>> I Married Al-Kaida (Slovenia)
During the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina over 7000 Muslim soldiers from international brigades came to help Bosnian Muslims to fight against Serbs and Croats. Some of them were Mudjahedeens, who were trained in terrorist camps in Afghanistan and connected to Osama bin Laden. Many of these soldiers stayed in Bosnia and they have married Bosnian women. This is the story of Bosnia woman Azra, who marries young Syrian soldier Jusuf after the Dayton peace Agreement, without knowing his past.

At first the marriage between Azra and Jusuf looks like quite happy one, but after the birth of daughter Dzanana Azra starts realizing Jusuf‘s real intentions. Jusuf is organizing trough “Humanitarian office” a Wahabee movement in the village. Peasants are poor and easily bought to change their religious practice and become more radical. The first guy who stands against radicalism in the village is a Muslim pope Imam, who is found dead, hanged on the tree in front of Mosque. It looks like suicide, but the Mudjahadeens, who are hiding in the woods, committed it and Jusuf have leaded them. After the dead of Imam situation in the village completely change, woman starts wearing undercover and open sexuality is forbidden. Azra‘s best friend Sanela becomes a teacher in the kindergarten and start teaching young kids sheriat law. Azra‘s mother is ill in the hospital and Azra is more and more alone with her daughter. Azra is struggling for her rights with Jusuf, but slowly she is becoming a prisoner of Jusuf‘s way of life. After she discovers that Jusuf has beheaded a young Bosnian soldier during the war, she realizes that it is time to escape. Young Sead, who was a follower of Jusuf, helps her to escape from Bosnia together with Dzanana. Azra comes to Berlin and gets a safe flat. Azra in Berlin becomes a friend with Social Worker, a young lady, who also came from Bosnia. Azra starts a new life in Germany, but suddenly Jusuf shows up together with his fighters. They kidnap Azra and Dzanana and want to take them to Syria. Social Worker together with the police tries to found out where Azra disappeared. On the Tempelhof airport Azra is taken trough Custom, police is searching the passengers, but there is no sign of Azra. In the last moment, when Azra is already on the plane, Social Workers finds out the sign written on a toilet wall. Police arrests Jusuf and his crew.

Azra is now free and living in Canada. She is walking with her daughter down the nice Canadian street. They both look happy and changed. Azra notice a handsome young man entering the house. Azra looks at him, a young man is putting down his shoes, like Muslims did. Shock. Freeze frame.
