1. "Womb" by Benedek Fliegauf, winner of the Krzysztof
Kieslowski
ScripTeast Award in the second edition of ScripTeast was shoot in Germany in spring 2009. ScripTeast Advisory Board justified
their verdict with the following words:
“This script set in the near future has an intense emotional power that promises to be extremely
effective on screen. It deals with
the moral and ethical issues surrounding human cloning, but in a sensitive and all too believable
story. It inexorably draws us in
to the world of the characters, so that we can identify on an intimate personal level with the human
dilemmas that confront them.
It should be a profoundly moving film that will deeply effect audiences, and stir debate about this
issue.”.
"Womb",
also directed by Fliegauf, is a co-production of Razor Film (Paradise Now,
Waltz with Bashir), Inforg Studios (producer of previous Fliegauf’s

5. "Archeo", written and
directed by Jan Cvitkovič, is the
3rd feature of the author.
A
Man, a Woman and a Boy. Three individuals in a timeless landscape. They
don’t know each other, their cultural background is undefined. They try
to survive, each on his/her own. But every so often their paths cross and
slowly they start to get in some contact even if it is utterly mistrusting and
occasionally hostile at the outset. Gradually through various situations they
start to develop relationships. We watch each of them in different basic
states; the state of fear, happiness, indifference, fury, helplessness, hatred,
feeling of being lost and finally love.
The
situations in which they appear and meet derive almost exclusively from the
subconscious, therefore they are in a sense archetypal. Thus the film in
essence is about the process of formation of the basic human social and
intimate family cell. Arche-man, arche-woman and arche-boy slowly get rid of the fear, hostility, insecurity
and join in an arche-community,
we call family. An arche-film
about and arche-family.
The
film is produced by Jožko Rutar of Staragara (Slovenia),
coproduced by Igor Prinčič of Transmedia (Italy), Andras Muhi of Inforg Studio
(Hungary) and Slovenian public broadcaster RTV Slovenia. Financial support came
