Chris Collins is currently Development Producer for the Development Fund at the UK Film Council where he manages the Feature Film Development Programme, the funding stream for producers, production companies and filmmakers with a proven track record in feature film production.
His credits as a producer include recent release Brick Lane (Sarah Gavron), My Summer of Love (Pawel Pawlikowski), Four Last Songs and Tomorrow La Scala! (Francesca Joseph) He has worked as an associate producer for BBC Films where he made Last Resort (Pawel Pawlikowski) and a series of short films for BBC2 including films by award-winning writer/directors Andrea Arnold and Vito Rocco. He has also worked as a development/production executive with the former public production funder, BFI Production where he was instrumental in the production of John Maybury’s Love is the Devil and Jasmin Dizdar’s Beautiful People.
