A gate to the world for scriptwriters from Eastern and Central Europe

Born in Buenos Aires of a Polish father and a British mother and based in Paris for many years, Miguel Machalski has a multicultural, multilingual profile. This appears in his various scopes of activity: script consultant and story editor, workshop tutor and screenwriter. He has written or co-written 16 feature film screenplays (comedy, drama, biopic, thriller...) in three different languages (English, Spanish, French); runs workshops in Europe, Asia and Latin America; and works as a development and creative consultant on projects from all parts of the world. He writes in-depth articles on screenwriting and has published a widely-distributed Spanish-language book on the subject. Two of his screenplays are currently in post-production and are due to be released in late 2008/early 2009 (Kluge, an Argentinean production and Ramata, a pan-African production). Also a trained musician, he has recently composed the soundtrack for one of the above-mentioned films (Kluge).
